Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-30 D is a dual-purpose engine oil approved for diesel vehicles where manufacturers specify an ACEA C2 0W-30 lubricant. The formula’s magnetic cling technology adheres to critical engine components including valvetrain, timing chain, pistons, and bearings, delivering 50% better wear protection. It forms a protective barrier across metal contact points, manages abrasive piston deposits to prevent cylinder liner wear, maintains timing chain tension and engine synchronicity, and protects engine bearings from corrosive attack.
