Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-30 C2 is an engine oil suitable for automotive gasoline, diesel, and hybrid vehicles where the manufacturer recommends an ACEA C2 5W-30 lubricant. The oil clings like a magnet to critical engine parts, delivering 50% better engine wear protection by forming a resistive barrier between metal contact points in the valvetrain, managing abrasive piston deposits to guard against cylinder liner wear, maintaining timing chain tension and engine synchronicity by minimising chain damage and elongation, and protecting engine bearings from corrosive wear.
