Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-40 DPF is a premium engine oil engineered for diesel engines that call for an ACEA C3, API SN and API CF specification lubricant. The oil clings to critical engine parts and locks in place to deliver 50% better engine wear protection, safeguarding the valvetrain, timing chain, pistons, and bearings from damage and wear. It forms a resistive barrier between metal contact points in the valvetrain, manages abrasive piston deposits to guard against cylinder liner wear, maintains timing chain tension and engine synchronicity by minimising chain damage and elongation, and protects engine bearings from corrosive wear.
